Unlike Holds, which keep you in control of a request, an Exception means:
o I can’t fix what’s wrong;
AND
o Someone else needs to deal with it.
When you use the Flag as Exception command, you must choose the appropriate Exception Reason:

1. Click the Flag as Exception button.
2. In the Flag as Exception window:
a. Select the Exception Reason.
b. Provide more information in the Comments field.
c. Click Exception and Next. You can also choose Exception and Close by clicking the Down arrow.
3. The request is flagged as an Exception.
a. If the request was in Fulfillment, any Medical Records that were already attached will be transmitted to Ciox Health.
4. The Request Status changes to:
a. Logging Exception
b. Fulfillment Exception

1. Do NOT click the Remove Exception button as soon as you open the request. 2. Make your updates, which may include attaching documents, changing data entry field values, etc. 3. Click the Remove Exception button. 4. On the Remove Exception window, enter information in the Comments field, then click Remove and Next. |
