Ciox Health Phoenix handles a large volume of medical record requests from insurance companies, including HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) requests.
HealthSource Clarity normally imports these requests directly in a process called “auto-loading.” All the required data entry fields — requester info, patient info, dates of service, etc. — are automatically filled out and the request immediately moves to a Request Status of Ready to Fulfill.
When this process works, there’s no need for a CSR to do anything. In fact, a CSR won’t even notice that anything happened.
Sometimes, though, we can’t auto-load requests:
o Sites can forbid us from auto-loading because they want a human to verify that the requests belong at the site;
o a technical problem interrupted the auto-load.
In these cases, a CSR can manually import the Phoenix requests.
