Medical care providers often need to get patient records immediately. STAT Request Letters are typically received by fax, but NOT through the HealthSource Clarity fax number for a site. Instead, they go to the fax number for a facility’s Record Department or an administrator. This path means that we can’t automatically extract data from the Request Letter.
In turn, we usually deliver the medical records by fax straight back to the requester, not through the automated Ciox Health ROI process. In some cases the records may be picked up.
The STAT Request command gives you an easy way to track the volume of this work without the need to create individual requests. This command is available from the Menu in the upper left corner of the HealthSource Clarity screen.
