Split a request

The Split Request option lets you divide a single request into multiple requests.

1.          Open the original request. It will have a Request Status of Ready to Log.

2.          From the More Actions menu, select Split Request.

3.          Click OK on the Confirm message.

4.          The request closes. It will have a Request Status of Split.

5.          Open the request. The Split Requests page appears.

6.          Click the first page of the first Request Letter in the Draggable Pages window. To select more than one image, hold down the CTRL key while you click each one.

7.          Drag and drop the page(s) to the Patient 1 box.

8.          Repeat for Patient 2.

9.          To create more requests, click Create New Patient and drag images to each additional Patient box.

10.      When all pages have been assigned to a Patient or deleted, the Draggable Pages window will be empty.

11.      Click the Split button for Patient 1.

12.      Repeat for all other patients.

13.      Click Done at the bottom right corner of the Split Requests page.

14.      The Completed Split page appears.

a.     The new requests have their own unique eRequest ID values.

b.    The Request Status for the new requests = Ready to Log.

c.     The Created Date for each new request matches the date / time it was submitted from the Split Request page;

Undo Split

The Undo Split command changes the Request Status of the original request from Split to Ready to Log.

This command is not available if you have already split at least one page from the original.
